Hello!

This is my situation:

- I have a four year degree from Manitoba
- 2 years and 3 months left on my PGWP because I had to fly home after my studies were done (surgery & recovery)
- IELTS = perfect score
- Funds = 10.000 CAD
- Age = 27

I do not have any work experience (foreign or Canadian). It is very difficult for me to find full-time employment in Winnipeg. I only have an unskilled part-time job right now. I would like to live in Manitoba.

- CRS Points = 391
- MPNP Points = 62

Here are my options:

a) MPNP (6 months full-time work and apply under Skilled Immigration route)
b) MPNP under overseas stream (62 points)
c) Move to BC and try to get BC Nomination. I do not know about the job situation in BC though. Maybe I will end up unemployed there.
d) Move to UK, get Masters degree and come back to Canada under IEC Visa (2 years) and try to immigrate that way

or

e) Apply for Express Entry when the score comes down to 391. I don't know if I can apply for Express Entry without any work experience. Is that possible?

Please tell me what I should do!

Thank you!!!

If i were you, i would apply for EE and wait. Also apply for Manitoba PNP, of course you can look for a job in NOC A, B and after one year apply through CEC. Move to Toronto and look for job there if you can. I would not leave the country now. Look for jobs.

As per my understanding there should be minimum 12 months full time work experience under Skilled Workers Category within last two years and minimum 24 months of work experience under skilled trade category within last 5 years. Below is the text from CIC website (can't post link here):

===========================================================
Minimum requirements
To be eligible, you must:

have at least two years of full-time work experience (or an equal amount of part-time work experience)Footnote * in a skilled trade within the five years before you apply,

You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week.

You PGWP with 2.3 years left, try to find a job that gives you skilled work experience and you will be eligible for CEC.

--I don't know what to tell you..
You have more than 2 years work permit and says wont get a job there in Manitoba??
There are lots people who are running out of time.

NOC O, A and B has all the list of jobs that you can work.
You will get a job if you try your maximum.
I am in Ontario and you can Imagine the competition here, but tried a lot and got a job at last.
And do you think if you go for Higher studies and come back the rules will be the same? It wont be..
if you want to go for Masters, then why done you try here?
If you take Masters from University in Canada (there are diff provinces which support), you can directly apply for PNP without any job.
In Manitoba, they just need 6 months exp not 1 yr and the processing is really fast.
Why then moving to BC, their processing time is now 13 months due to number of applications.
In Alberta, lots of opportunities, but processing time is 24 months for AINP.
But still you will get job, or you can apply after completed 1 yr.
I have friends in Manitoba and I know they tried hard to get a job, but they got it as a result.

I just want to wish you all the best.
