any 2009 application transfered from damascus to warsaw please join here

They are on our files for sure.
I think, based on all the info I have, that most of the damas 2009 apps will be closed by end of this year. Exceptions will be only with files with special cases and upnormal problems.
 
I think that me and my family will land next summer when the kids finish school. Let us see if I am right :)

Hi,
They can't finalize 2009 applicants by the end of 2013...We are in October now and I am still without Medical Request!
Most of the applicants who applied in late of Nov. 2009 and Dec. 2009 haven't got MR yet.
Warsaw vo are sending new file number for applicants...The new file number is in the GCMS system and starts with E.
I haven't got this yet...Applicants who applied in April, March and Feb 2010 got their new file numbers by now.
 
You right. After wait of three years and a half they sent me a new file number. What a progress in my case!

Hi,
My application is for April 2010 and all I've gotten is a request for some updates and no new file number was given to me :(

I don't think you'd get the new file number....coz you did your medical test and you are waiting for pass request.
If you get your visa by the end of 2013 you won't need the new file no.
But if you'd get your pass request in 2014, they must send new file number to u too...coz the old system(caips) will be deactivated by the end of 2013...and they mentioned it at the some pass request emails by now.

Hope u get your visa soon.

You must send an email to them and ask about the situation of your case..coz they are so busy and forget to send the new file numbers to some cases....one of my friends who applied in April 2010 did it too...and they sent them the new file number afterward.

You did your medical test,right?...these file numbers are sent to appl without medical or some will be finalized in 2014...
maybe you don't need to get the new file number...I thought your case is in Warsaw too!...lol...
but sending an email and asking about the situation is not bad!

I have two cases running in parallel. One that I applied in April 2010 under FSW program in Damascus and like everyone here was ping ponged between VOs till it landed in Warsaw and they changed the status to in process in March 2012 and have been awaiting for medical ever since. They just asked me for some updates 2 weeks ago and that's it. And my other case is a sponsorship because while waiting for the first one I went to Sweden to do a two year masters and met my husband who happens to be a Canadian and now he has applied for me. For the sponsorship application I had to do my medical at the beginning and that one is at Vienna VO.
 
We have got our MR early June this year and we did not get a new file number.
I hope this means that we will be finalized this year according to the "old system(caips) will be deactivated by the end of 2013" theory which I like.

Hi....Yes...me and 54 other applicants(who applied in dec. and late of nov. 2009) in our table in iranian forum..
and we are more than that coz many applicants don't know about these forums!
