Hey.. well cse my husband applied back in 2004 got his MD PPR and visa in january 2012. we notified CIC in January that we are planning to get married before my hubby lands. after marriage we sent them update they requested marriage certificate updated IMM, RPRF etc.. than after a month they asked for my medical (june 2012).

in september 2012, husband's visa/md expired and in march of this year they asked for remeds (for him) well the funny thing is till now no answer and now my medical are expired.. go figure.. :)

WOW a 10-year journey to Canada, if you started walking back in 2004, you should be there by now :)
Anyway, believe it or not, for us, we will be happy if we get delayed another year or two. We applied back in 2009 (early 2010) and since then things were, thank God, great for us business wise. There is no economical sense for us to move out of Jordan expect for the kids and us getting the passports. It is really funny, we are watching for news and forums to know when we will get the PPR, but once we get it, it will be a problem because we then have to leave behind our prosperous businesses here!

It is official, Warsaw are not joining the strike, the following is an extract from a statement published by PAFSO on their facebook page earlier today:

Effective Monday, in order to persuade the Government that binding arbitration remains the responsible way forward to resolve our dispute, PAFSO members will withdraw all services until further notice at Canada’s fifteen largest visa processing centres abroad: Abu Dhabi, Ankara, Beijing, Cairo, Delhi/Chandigarh, Hong Kong, London, Manila, Mexico City, Moscow, Paris, Riyadh, Sao Paulo, and Shanghai.
