Hi guys
I have applied to DAMAS Jan 2010 and today I have got the MED request.
It is not just a MED request, it also a request for updated docs including police, funds, a form, copies of passports and we are also asked to pay the Right of Landing Fee which is CAD 490 per person.
Any thoughts what on what does it means that we are asked for all this at one shot and not the medicals alone? Please let me know your knowledge and experience about this.
Also, there are 2 listings for 2 doctors in Jordan to do medicals, any one knows which is better from pervious experience?

HOW DID U GET THE REQUEST BY EMAIL???

Thank you Fedup
I got it by email.
I applied to Sydney maby be in Oct 2009 and sent full docs on Jan 2010.

congratulationssssssssss thats mean good news for you everything is going the right steps they normaly ask for
how long have they given you to send all the documents they have asked you for??????

the sooner the better. usually they give you date just to tell you how much time frame you have but better to send them as soon as possible so the process goes faster.

Medicals need to go to london than decision goes to your VO.

Actully it says to send it to Paris.

yes sorry either london or paris.. depends i think from your country of residence but same logic. if i were you i dnt wait till last minute if you can take appointment fast and finish with it .. itll be better.

I was told that when the PPR comes, the passports can be away for up to 2 months!
this is a big problem for me becuse i travel a lot for business.

Hi nice lady...

Thank u for ur valuable info....but I haven't received my ppr untill now.2 wks ago I received pcc request for my husband,in that letter they mentioned we need ur husbands pcc in order to conclude ur application.that's why I hope our ppr on the way.I am in UAE now ...that's why I am enquiring it now....

Hi sheenathomas
May I ask pls, if you have done you meds in 8/12, dose this mean you must land before 8/13 or your meds will expire and need to be re-done?
I am asking becuse we are planning to do meds next week and i am wondering if that means we must land same time naxt year (max) before meds expire?
Our kids finish school around these days next year and that is when we can travel.

Yes and you have to manage your self so you can land in more suitable time. You can make your med at any time but you have to tell the VO abt your extend permit and they will accept it 100%. As much as you have time b4 landing as much you will be more managed according to your kids schools and your work leave.
