i have been working as a network engineer for 4 years now in a company which is one of the biggest ISP's here in my country and recently i have been offered a position as an IP planning manager at Ericsson's managed network services for ZainGSM, the pay is nearly the same no big difference and the experience well its different, im a CISCO guy mostly and i will be working with totally different equipment there, my question is and what i have in mind is that its not worth switching jobs at the moment because according to my timeline i should be close in getting a medical request soon, the time it takes for me to blend in will be at least 6 months and it will be a bit difficult to tell them at that point that im leaving, i have been struggling the past 3 days wondering what would be the right thing to do and i hoped that any one of you guys went though a similar situation, thanks in advance.
