ANNEX A Return Address question

Hi All,

My wife received an email from CIC asking her to send the ANNEX A form. Part of the form asks to fill out a mailing address for CIC to send her the COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence). She's currently visiting me in Canada and we're wondering if we can put my Canadian address (Sponsor) instead of the USA address (which is the address we provided in her PR application).

Would we run into any problems or is this fine?

You'd have to change the address she lives at with ircc then go from there

Thanks for the quick reply. A few follow up quesitons.

Her living address is currently in the USA, and we are in an Outland application type. The ANNEX A form specifies this can be shipped to a US or Canadian mailing address (Mailing Address is not the same thing as a physical address). She only comes to Canada for visits, but that's where we prefer the forms to be sent back.

We do not intend to change her physical address to Canada at this time, we just need to know if it's OK for them to send the COPR documents back to my Canadian Mailing Address.

thanks again!

Give the Canadian address if she is in Canada.

If you got the passport request letter, read it carefully. It may (and probably does) have instructions for where to send if the applicant is currently in Canada. If that's the case and the instructions are there - do that.
