This kinda makes sense. They need money. And no one pays better than international students. Family members have no financial benefit. So maybe they took a break on family cases and moved on to the other visas

Yeah but then again i witnessed groups after groups of applicants like us have been pushing MPs, they even went out on the streets and on media asking for the same and not only nothing changed, its getting even worse. At the end of the day they blame covid and ask us to be patient because rest assure they are doing... U know the rest !
Exactly. All I am asking is transparency. We have the right to know what's going on. If they are prioritizing others over us at least we can make plans. If I know they will not give me anything for the next 4 months I will leave my job and go to my spouse. We have been extending this torture month by month for more than a year now.
It's not just that IRCC is incompetent and lazy, they are also disrespectful to our health and wellbeing. They bluntly lie to our faces and keep going about their idiotic goals prioritizing other groups.

I completely feel and understand you. Unfortunately they would never open up a subject like that with public. That will just open doors to more and more complaints and questions. I always try to think over things like this like a politician to come to an understanding in my own head. At least i can reason with it even though im totally against it. Try to get busy with the positives in your relationship. This shall pass too and you will have a lifetime to enjoy with your partner

Dont get me wrong ! Go ahead with it im just saying dont let this whole thing take over your head. ever since me and my wife accepted the fact that theres nothing we can do except making sure everything is done properly on our side, we got to deal with it alot better. Believe me Im not the type of person who stays quite myself but im just saying it never worked with the previous batches of applicants so im not sure if anything makes them change the way they do work during this pandemic excuse time, unfortunately. But good luck and you have every right to do what you are doing just take it easy on yourself and you never know you might just get the good news very soon

Right now giving out Visa to tourist and students makes absolutely no sense, when actual Canadian Citizens are being affected. We are being kept apart from spouses for more than a year while Ankara is processing applications for students or tourists. I hope every applicant that reads about this starts to complain or else Ankara will continue to ignore us. We have rights as citizens and we need to collectively voice our concerns. Ankara should be only processing family classes, nothing else during this pandemic.
I just emailed Ankara with the additional documents they required from me. So for now i got this automatic reply but if i receive any actual reply saying they got the new files then it probably means they are still working on our cases. I'll let you guys know right after
