Yeah i was an April applicant...i got the ppr email on December 20 many of my april friends are getting ppr or pre-arrival email these days...just wait a abit more

Why is it this long after they taking your passport then?

the reason was they asked sponsor employment proof again, and asked questions about relationship

Hi everyone. I’m wondering if you got an email that says your application has been sent to the Ankara office or if you know this because you called them? Our timeline is this:
Application received Aug 2,2019
Fingerprints requested: Oct 28,2019
Sponsorship accepted: October 28,2019
Fingerprints done: nov 11,2019
Medical requested: nov 2, 2019
Medical received: nov 22,2019

nothing since then. We called immigrations Canada and they told us that the application is now with the Ankara office but we never received an email to tell us that. Does anyone know how long it will be? Is it true that they are working on applications from April right now?

AoR = Acknowledgement of Receipt, you receive a letter or an email when the office receives your application
ECAS = Electronic Client Application Status (at least I think that's what it stands for), https://services3.cic.gc.ca/

If they said that your application is in Ankara now, you should received the email then, maybe you missed it otherwise contact them(IRGC) to send you the email again as you did not received it.
Sounds like they working on the late April and beginning of May as we heard the updates from the people who got their PPR.
