A little update. There was no updates on my file at all( I check every day), I finally got a small update today ;D

Usually when I click on "application received" that was the only line available. Now theres "medicals has been received" added to it.

I hope that means progress. I am praying for all of you guys and also praying for iboxxixodl who deserves to get his PPR before any of us others,

Thanks Turkey2013 and Mrs. Asag for your replies. How did they notify your husbands that their passport was ready for pick-up?

A friend of ours also going to Ankara to get his visa. Do you know if my wife give her passport to him with the authorization letter of course, they issue visa the next day as if she submit her passport in person? I ask, because I have heard that those travel agencies return passports in about 10 days. I'm not sure if it takes longer because travel agency's schedule is 10 days or because Ankara visa issuance turnaround is longer for those who send their passport through a third party.

For my husband it was different, he went that monday morning and they notified him right away that he can pick up his passport the next day at 13:00...Well for the 10 days it is not that bad, but again it all depends what your plans are !!!

Hey all,

this might not be so relevant here but I was hoping someone could help me. As of December 2013 visitor visa applicants for Canada need to do biometrics and for Iranian, that means to visit the consulate in Ankara themselves to do the biometric and submit their application. The question is, do they need to make an appointment and is there an online booking system for that? I would really appreciate if someone can advise me on that.

No Turkey, I never had the chance. I had a fair understanding that I should hear something back by end of this month so I wanted to see if I do and only then order the GCMS.

I did hear something, though now after reading a few topics, I realise that "Medicals Received" is somewhat vague.

Could you please tell me what happened to your Ecase after you received your PPR? I did not order any GCMS notes, so I am not sure whether they have written my Email address correctly or not. Knowing about the changes of Ecase would probably help.
