Hello Everybody...
:-)

Great news was really joyfull!
:-)

Just as a question, when the PPR e-mail is sent, what happens next?
I mean, the applicant must go to ankara VO by himself?

What is the process?

No you can just send in the passport with a tourist/courier agency given you paid the way back as well. Its rumored (i heard) that if you go down there yourself after PPR happened, then you get visa stamped same/next day.

But for those of us who dont live in Turkey, its definetly easier to courier it and wait an extra week than spend additional funds.

Hopefully this answered your question.

OMG! Super excited. Can't believe it :D everyone stay strong. It takes time , but good news will come ur way very soon :) sending positive vibe to everyone. We got our norouz gift and I hope everyone will have a fantastic year too

Unbelievable! It's like Ankara realised Norooz is coming and better get these PPR emails out quick ;) BEST EIDI EVER!!

Congrats Melisaa, lhb007 and welt!!! :D :D

Question: when a new immigirent enters canada, how much weight can we enter in the country? Forget the usual 2 suitcases. I mean extra belonging? I don' t wanna get taxed.

Thank you all for your kind words. I'm sure in a few days we are going to hear good news from Mehrdad and lboxixodl. I think Ankara VO has cleared their backlog, caused by their strike, and things have started to move much faster now.

I can't thank enough those who have started this forum and keeping it active with their kind support and help. Going through this process without the help and support of this forum members would have been much harder for me. Specially, lboxixodl for maintaining the spreadsheet and Mrs. Asg and Turkey2013 for their highly informative and helpful posts.

:) Does anybody know of a reliable place in Tehran where they'd take my love's passport to Ankara for visa? I have heard there are certain flight centers( آژانس مسافرتى ) that have this service. Any suggestion?

Hey Folks,

Tell What, My wife's application changed to "In Process", I am really happy and excited about it; they have started processing her application on Feb. 20. I know it is impossible but I hope they send PPR before Nowrouz.

HELLO TO MY FORUM FAMILY!!!!

I am back from Turkey and cannot describe how much I miss it there! I miss my family and more importantly, I miss my husband with all of my heart.

I am so happy to hear of everyone's success stories! I am very pleased to say that I join you in your happiness! MY HUSBAND GOT HIS VISA!

The embassy requested his passport the day we went there (Monday the 10th) and he received his passport with his visa in it on Saturday the 22nd.

My husband is still in Turkey with his Dad and he will be coming back to Canada in early March!

Thank you to all of the support of the forum! You guys are amazing and such strong people!

I will still be here for guidance if it is needed :)
