tanks every one. I so happy that my background check ended after 10 months . and my application in last stage.
I done all medical examination yesterday. and hope e-medical system work better that older system

I start to prepare my self for landing in Vancouver airport I hope that I get PPR before Persian new years.

More than anyone, I think you have really suffered from waiting. I am glad that things are moving, I hope that you will spend Norooz with your dear in Vancouver.

Do you have any idea why you were rejected? As far as I remember, according to the immigration guide the case will be rejected if:
- There is no solid evidence that you relationship is genuine and continuing, or the officer comes to conclusion that you are jumping to immigration process by marrying
- Criminality problem or participating with terrorist, etc.
- Serious medical problem ( I am not sure about this one)
- Dishonesty in providing information
If you are sure about these things I think you definitely need to ask the office about why your case was rejected. It is your absolute right to unite with your wife in Canada.
However in complicated cases it is better to consult with an expert lawyer.

Is this a reply to your request by email?
Or did they just that to you out of a sudden?

Farnaz, did your husband do military service, live in foreign countries or travel to many other countries before? Is his job connected to government or does he work for any company linked to the government? Sometimes people with similar names to others get more checks too.

He was excempted from Military service, No gevernment job at all!
But he travelled alot.
That is the only thing!

We also received the following response to an email I sent a few days ago. The email does not give us any info.

You know, this could just be a standard reply from the visa office. Or they are checking more into all the countries he visited. Maybe you can order GCMS notes to see if it shows anything new, specifically the location of the paper file. I remember lboxixodl mentioned before that this can give more insight into the file.

Or has he been screened by Interpol for any other visa issuance?

He travelled mostly Europe and south east Asia like malaysia, Thailand and also South Korea.

The last time that I've got GCMS notes was on Dec, exactly a day before the e status changed to in process.
GCMS notes showed that enerything have been passed and the only outstanding was Security Screening which has not been started yet.

I ordered another GCMS notes almost at the end of the Dec but have not heard anything yet!

But in most application background check take 3 month after landing fee or in-process.
