TRUE and I really don't want to piss everyone, but my gcms notes were all written PASSED, what they are waiting for is I DON'T HAVE A D*** CLUE...security check, I have nooooo idea

Yup! According to my husband's GCMS notes his eligibility, criminality and medical all PASSED within...(get this)....15 minutes according to the date and time stamps!! And I think about how many weeks it took us to get all those documents and proofs together...and then it sat for 6 months in Ankara...only to be cleared in 15 minutes, haha. Notes also say, HPT: hold for ppt request and BF Review: RFV (ready for visa)! Just security has been left blank (or whited out actually, so we couldn't see it).

Really starting to think a lot of this is either personnel problems - not enough people working in the office to handle the large amount of files that come through or security checks taking way too long by the outside government agencies.

EXACTLY the same same notes about ppt request and security blank, I am sure it wasn't whited...

You guys are right. I also believe that it should be pretty much related to shortage of personnel in Ankara. That is why they send everything in bunch. As Turkey2013 told they send msgs, in-processes, ppr in bunch. You also remember that Ankara employs two officers. But spouse sponsorship should be given the highest priority.

Like seriously... this month would be nice. Even if they do PPR in batches... do A BATCH A MONTH! Can't be that hard!

Sometimes I think I wish I had their (officers in Ankara) address and I could bribe them every day...like all of us could do that!
I wanna go to their door and be their friend and take care of their kids and cook and help them to work 24-7!!! I know so selfish of me.... I guess everyone needs balance, even them!

They *might* call your wife in Turkey, or they will likely send a letter to the mailing address she listed on the application forms. For this reason, I suggest contacting the visa office in Ankara and let them know you would like to update her file to include an email address (you can give her's or your email address), because email is much faster and you don't have to consider postal delays.

That is a good question. Who will receive the email? Sponsor or Sponsored?
For the sponsorship approval, sponsor receives the email.

I am sponsoring my husband, he was working at company X when I completed the application, but now he works at company Y. Should I inform them for any work changes? Do they ever call to check if he is still working there? ???

according Canada immigration law, every applicant can have their application detail's.

you can ask them to send you every detail about you application that show home many activity done in your application.
but some data like security always withdraw form report. and you cant never see you security status.

this location show many thinks. I don't know my location means but if your location is " HPT - Hold to request PPT " its means that you receive PPR email less than 2 month
as I see many people that have this location receive PPR 1 or 2 month after
