hey, do we actually benefit from there being two more openings? or is this just false hope, because i am seeing these openings are for temp visa's not permanent :\

It should take some of the traffic away from the Canadian Embassy in Ankara - hopefully free up some space!!!

Hi Turkey2013!

Our lawyer was telling us about some red-flags as well since I am not Muslim, not Turkish and we had a civil ceremony. As long as there is proof that your relationship is valid (you've been together for a long time, live together, lots of pictures through out your relationship, pictures of you with his family or vice versa - you will be fine. Can I ask how you guys met?

sorry people i am a bit pissed today. i want to take it out of my system.

i want to touch her, smell her. see her with clarity and enjoy what i see.
- i don't want to spend stupid amounts to voip providers
i want to listen to her while she sings, hear her voice not digitized.
- i don't want to spend all i earn on airlines
i want to save for our home
- i don't want to dream about my wife anymore.
i want her.
- i don't want to miss anymore.

Hi Serhan!! Read your post and you are sooo right....My wait hasn't been so long, but still it was heart wrenching and soo true
Hope you are feeling better and keep the faith!!!

- i don't believe visa officers are normal people doing their job.
- i believe they are lousy and lazy people. getting money for not working.
- they enjoy giving bull*censored word* to people
- they enjoy our pain.
- I hate them and i will hate them forever.
- if i meet a visa officer in the sahara desert, i wouldn't give a single drop of water.

and i'm very frustrated i don't want anybody to tell me i am wrong.

Hi there!

Right now, my husband received an email from Ankara . He was asked to send more pictures, our continuous communication especially after our marriage, 2 questionnaires forms.

We are preparing them, but it is odd, because we send all of them before.
Do u think it is a bad sign?!!!!
Anybody had have the same experience before?

Your story sounds like it is long lasting and should be enough for an immigration officer, especially since you have met his family and you have been there to visit him!

My husband and I met here in Canada. He is still here actually. We met 2 years ago and got married in December. I haven't been to Turkey yet but he has some family here I have met and he has obviously met all of my family. I met his parents over skype but they're too old to travel as far as Canada (he is the youngest of 10!!!)

We got a lawyer because we wanted to make sure there were absolutely zero items missing from the application and it was all done correctly. A few of his friends used this lawyer and really had high praise for him!
