what do you mean by "archived", you mean you haven't sent it before with your application? I think they usually explain in the email/letter to how and where to send them and usually you have to send it with the file number plus a copy of their letter attached.

The one we sent with the application wasn't archived I actually never knew the difference between current (present) police certificate and the archived one. The email they sent us doesn't say anything except this, that's why I'm confused.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Would you please submit an archived Police Clearance (Certificate). The previous one we have is not archived.

Thank you.

I have searched for you trough the sites i find this
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/europe/turkey.asp

If you live in Turkey
You should apply for a police certificate from the General Prosecutor’s Office, which has branches located in each city. You will need to present your birth certificate or passport, if you are a foreign resident. The police certificate must include the results of a search of “archived” records.

please let me know if it suits you

dears,
I c from your posts that ECAS changed to in process after medical check is done, while mine is in process since april, 2013 and got nothing regarding medical checks, is that normal.
My other question is, does Ankara VO send medical check request by mail or email? and how to check to know if they sent it or not.
Please, advice

In Family sponsorship Category we sent our medical together with our applications so VO has received our medical before start the process on the application and as I see in your category I think yours is from different category that you have to wait till VO announce you for medical.

Thanks very much for the reply, but, does any one know if for other categories MR is sent by mail or email?

Most of the time CIC will email, if you have provided them with an authorized email address. However, I would suggest that you check with people applying in your class. Their experiences will be closer to what you should expect than the family class. :)

Best wishes.
