Has anyone received biometrics request letter from Ankara VO recently? It is getting to long since AOR2 and we haven’t heard anything from them especially about the biometrics request.

We received passport request yesterday (!!!) May 15th but the status on the website hasn't changed since we submitted biometrics about 2 months ago - I don't think they are updating the website regularly (the one requiring GCKey to login). However, the other website (ECAS) shows "decision made".

Congrats! All seems fine, ECAS would not show DM for no reason. All looks fine to me. Congrats again!

my husband receive email to come for interview, and also they request some documents, and they request to pay the bio metrics but I have already did that for him but still they request it again. They request police certificate from turkey and they said the archive records what they mean but this and how to apply for it what is the translation for it in Turkey. Any advise about the interview and what next. Thanks.

Congrats!!
Gckey willbe updated right after the visa is issued and Ecas would change from DM to complete, after you land in Canada. So if you have the PPR email, you are all done!! pack up and book your ticket!

I want to thank you guys for sharing your experiences. I have been following this page for a while now and comparing everyone’s timeline to ours and estimate when my wife would possibly get her visa. First of all, before asking my question, I would like to share our timeline:
PA: Iran
Application received - October 22, 2019
Acknowledged: Jan 23, 2019
Biometric payment form: February 8, 2019
Medical request: February 13, 2019
Met the requirement for eligibility as a sponsor: February 15, 2019
Biometric request: February 21, 2019
Application Forwarded to Ankara: February 22, 2019
Background check started: February 28, 2019
We didn't hear anything until last Wednesday when my wife checked the online tool and saw this update:
We sent you correspondence on May 1, 2019. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
I contacted our lawyer the next day and asked if they have received anything, they said no, and gave me a half ass answer that updates on the website is always faster, and it would take a couple of days before we receive the email. I asked them to give me access to gckey so I can check myself. They said that they have a problem with the portal and it doesn't allow them to link the application or grant access to clients fully; therefore they cannot see any detail until they receive the correspondence. They said they had contacted IRCC several times regarding this issue, but it was to no avail. So here is my question, Is that the PPR? Or they actually require additional information? When we call the inside Canada phone number, the automated recording says no interview required, we do not need additinal document, we are proccing background check.

I want to give you guys an update on our application, and maybe see if you guys have any suggestion. So we finally on May 8th we got the lawyer to send out an email to the Ankara office, mentioning that there is notification on the online tool application status indicating that they have send a correspondence on May 1st asking for additional document, however we have not received anything. The officer replied with a very vague snd generic reply that. We have received your application we don't need any additional information at this time. I asked my lawyer to contact the 1-800 number here in Canada to get an update. The lawyer was taking his sweet time and making excuses that line is always busy and he cant get through. So I called myself (on May 14th) and tried to get an update, the officer said that because my wife (PA) hasn't authorized me to enquire on her behalf they wont be able to release any information. Which is the stupidest thing I ever heard. So I called thr lawyer and offered him that I would call and stay on hold, once I get through I will add him to the conversation so he can ask them. Anyways we did that and the officer here in Canada said that they have no way of seeing any update after the file has been sent to Ankara and suggested that we email them again, which thr lawyer did. And here we are more than 3 weeks has passed since they have posted on the online tools about the correspondence, yet we have received nothing. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

Congratulations! It’s great to hear something from Ankara VO at last!
I have seen similar cases when people have been requested for paying for Bio again despite they had paid for it. Clearly it is a system error and you shouldn’t pay for it again. Good luck with the interview and get ready for the reunion!

You got to wait until your CSQ , then send it to your VO.
I live in QC too and my CSQ was sent (less than a week ago) .
They transferred my app to Ankara may 1st. till now am waiting! No news nothing, SOO frustrating
No one can tell how long it really takes, all we do is wait and wait

did you submit the csq to your vo by webform or mail in post?

I’m reading forum for a while but never had a chance to share our case.Thanks all people who are sharing their timeline to get an opinion how it works.I congratulations all you who get great news.Unfortunately we couldn’t get any news after our file sent to Ankara which is writing in mail on 7 March.I’m learning many stages by reading forum.Here is our case:

Outland application-Principal applicant is in Turkey

Sponsor is Canadian

Application received date - Dec 19, 2018

AOR1- Feb 13,2019

Sponsor Approval- March 7, 2019

Biometric Requested- February 21, 2019

Medical Requested- February 23, 2019

Biometric Completed- March 1, 2019

Medical Completed - March 4, 2019

Results received from Clinic on March 5,2019

File transfered to Ankara - March 7, 2019

Started processing file - March 13,2019

In April online tool check list showed 5 line..

I have moved in another city so i sent them to inform and change my home and mailing address but they changed just my home address despite of sending them second email to change all.My husband linked the application but there is no Dm.We still waiting any good news..
