today my ECAS went to "decision Made" mycic is still in background check.. no PPR in the email yet.

I wonder if the Dm is negative ...since I have seen cases where applicant didn't receive the email that requests additional documents and cic closed that file.

My police certificate is already expired. It's been 7 months but they didn't request a new one; I hope I didn't miss the email.

All required documents must be submitted in one single package within 30 days with a printed copy of this email.
Note: If you are an Iranian national currently residing outside Iran and wish to collect your visa in a location other than Ankara, different procedures will apply. Please reply to this e-mail adding “NEW ADDRESS FOR VISA ISSUANCE” to the subject line of the e-mail. Be sure to include your file number, your full name and date of birth, and your current e-mail and postal address.

Phew, thank God Ankara is back on track!

Does anyone know if the passport must be valid for at least 6 months in order to get the visa stamp? I've heard some don't pay much attention to 6 months and just give you a visa stamp before your expiry date.

Does your spouse have a Canadian visa application centre where she is living now? If so, she should contact them asap. She has only 2 days left to send her passport.

Wait a couple of days. PPR should follow soon. If not, send Ankara a case-specific enquiry.

Could you state your application time processing to us?

I am not sure if they accept less than 6 month or not but you have a chance to change it before you send it for landing visa. Sometimes airports don't accept the passport with less than 6 month either.

For my mom's parents visa, we changed her passport after they sent the passport request. There was a form which you had to fill it with the old and new passport info. If you wish to change your passport you should be able to in the landing visa case as well.

I am not sure if they accept less than 6 month or not but you have a chance to change it before you send it for landing visa. Sometimes airports don't accept the passport with less than 6 month either.

We didn't receive the passport request yet, but hopefully it will arrive anytime now. Yes, my husband will renew it now.
So once we do receive the passport request, we have to fill in the old passport information at the visa centre while sending out the new passport right?
