Ankara - Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship Applications

This topic is ONLY for those applicants who have applied to sponsor their parents and/or grandparents and they file is being processed in Visa office in Ankara, Turkey.

I applied on Nov 2007.
File transferred to Ankara on July 2012.
e-case shows "In process" on December 2012.

- Started processing application in November 2012

Applied in Sep 2008. The file was transferred to Ankara and "In Process" since December 2012. Nothing new !

Guys, when embassy sends you the medical applications by email or regular mail does status on e-cas website change as well ? From 'In process' to something else or it stays the same ??

I applied for my grandma and my cousins mother at the same time which was on September 2012 and i went to Turkey in October and they got their visa on Nocember 15 or something like that, it was super duper fast.

I think that was a Super Visa, not a Sponsorship program

I have applied for my mother in Augusts 2007.got the update request in 2010.filed transferred to ankara on dec2011.recieved medical exam request on september2012.still waiting for visa.... :-[

My parents sent their Medical to Ankara and I (which sponsored them) I already paid for Right of permanent fee also,
all send out on early Feb. 2013. Is anybody know when we going to accept request for passport. their passport will expire soon, and they have super visa on them too. I don't know it is good time now to renew their passport or not, and how long you think its take time from Ankara visa office to ask for passport? Is any body know please?

In order to get a visa - the pasports need do be valid at least 6 months. When you filed a sponsorship ? When the file was transferred from Canada to Turkey ? When you parents got the medical applications ?

I applied for them on July 2007 at canada - on 2010 they submit other doc. to syria, syria office was closed & their applications transferred to Ankara on Aug. 2011, and on Feb 2013 ankara asked for medical and right of permanent fee.
so now everything is sent out and completed and we have to wait for I don't know how many month again for passport request.

In this case, they will need to keep 2 passports - the old one with the Super Visa and the new one. So, at the boarder in Canada they have to show 2 passports...Unfortunately, nobody knows how long it would take to issue the Immigration Visa. The waiting time in Ankara is about 50 months
