Hi, there,

I am kind of new here. i got a question for the gurus here.

I tried to sponsor my nephew to Alberta under AINP family stream. I am currently preparing the paper work.

My question is that when I file the application to Alberta government for province nomination, do I need to submit the federal forms to Visa office in my nephew's resident country at the same time?

Or do i have to wait for the nomination, which will probably 4 years later, and the apply to the federal? By the way, I know when i apply to the province, i will also photo copy the federal forms to them.

I am kind of confuse. Thanks in advance.

When applying under AINP u send the documents only to ALberta and keep a copy of all CIC forms with you.

After a year if you are nominated you would send those copies to CIC

Thanks, ChaloCanada. That is what i thought.

The reason i am asking is because the process is so long, it just doesn't make sense to me to keep the documents for 4 years and then submit them.

Hi Seniors,

Is the above also true with NB-PNP? As I was reading their checklist, CIC requirements are included in their checklist and there is an instruction to make another copy of the CIC requirements for NB copy and the original will be forwarded to CIC.

I assume that we have to submit all the forms including original and photocopy of all CIC requirements. Upon nomination, NB will forward the original CIC requirement to the CIC responsible to our country of residence and they will retain the photocopy for their record.

Seniors, please help if what I assumed is correct as I am not 100% sure coz other provinces does not require CIC docs during PNP application.

Thanks in advance for any enlightenment.
