Update: Once you get document request it should not take more than 1 week or 10 days to get your nominations. Please keep checking your mail boxes.

I got document request on nov 22nd 2009 and i got my nomination on Dec 2nd 2009.

*** Note:

Whoever got document request better apply for FBI Fingerprint report as it takes time atleast 8 weeks.

Good luck to all.
Problem is our lawyer didn't reply to request until the deadline and which is already 10 days after document request... I guess you are DIYer right?

Nobody? no news?
Nervous

I actually responded to a doc request in Middle Feb, so going on almost 2 months now, No Nomination :(

I think things got delayed at their end with all the millions of rejection letters they had to send out to IT people.

I think we'll start seeing a flood of nominations in the coming weeks. Just my 2 cents.

Hello - I submitted my application in Feb 2009 under NOC 2072. 2 Weeks ago I received my nomination packet. I am looking for some guidance with respect to the next steps.

1. Should I just sign the form and send it along with the application fee for two (me and my wife)?
2. Should I submit the form, fee along with the police clearance?

Please advice.

Thanks in advance.

Ram

Time line -
Feb 2009 - Application Sent
Aug 2009 - File number received
Jan 2010 - Doc req received
Mar 2010 - Received Nomination

I agree with keeping hopes alive. Just saw Gigi's post in Timeline topic. Looks like s/he got theirs in 4th month after doc request.
Doc request was made on 7th dec but they sent docs on 23rd and got Nomination on 10th April.
