I am under post graduation work permit and apllying for ANIP. Can I apply for my boyfriend as well. What is the procedure? Should I show any proof as well? He is under study permit right now.

Yes, you can add him in your application but need to prove that he is your common law partner.

In Alberta, the term 'common law' is no longer used, and has been replaced with 'adultinterdependent relationship'. However, such an adult interdependent relationship generally requires a continuous relationship of at least three years or an adult interdependent partner agreement.

If you have lived together continuously for at least one year and are common-law, then yes, your partner will be included in your app.

AINP follows IRCC rules regarding common-law, not the provincial rules.
