Analysis: CIC invites when they hv between 14-15'00 candidates on a Wednesday

Hey all

Looking at the past few weeks, my Analysis is that CIC send invitations on a Wednesday (one exception on a Friday), when they have between 1400-1500 candidates above the CRS score of 450.

Any thoughts???

I second this but not sure how long they can continue doing this cuz sooner or later they'd have to draw people with <450 points. I hope it's not a wishful thinking.

Definitely, it is impossible for them to continue this way. Their backlogs are depleting and they simply have to start sending invites more frequently, and with lower scores.

It is not a wishful thinking but definitely a very calculated analysis...

Lets see how much longer can they wait. I am waiting for the past 4 months, while I was just lazy to submit my profile when the score was running at 450.

Draws used to be on Fridays last year, but CIC is currently generating draws on Wednessday, which seems to be the New FRIDAY.

Seems the new government/minister of IRCC prefers it this way.

IRCC can still choose to have only two draws per month. If they don't make more than 2 draws per month, then there is less chance that the score will fall below 450 CRS Points. Let's wait and see in which month they intend to drop the cut-off score below 450.

IRCC will surely drop the cut-off mark below 450, once all their backlog "Pre-Express Entry" applications are addressed.

Does anyone can inform, how many backlogs are still there to clear? If the IRCC goes for 2 draws a month, and if the pre-EE backlog is clear, then they might go for more invites per draw which may decrease the CRS cut off as well.
