Hi All,

I have received a letter to notice me to attend an interview of my permanent residence on Mar 19. But I can't attend due to working in paralympics at Whistler. I have fax a letter to amend the interview date. But until now, no response from CIC office. So I dont know they receive my letter or not.

My question is, If I miss the first interview, would CIC give me second chance of the interview ?

thanks for your help

First of all - what type of interview is this? How long has your application been in process? Did you apply inland or outland?

If this is a landing interview, then it's not a big deal to reschedule. If it's an interview to verify your relationship, or to address another issue having to do with your application, I would suggest that you carefully consider whether you want to miss it, as it could be a really long time before another is scheduled - and your application will not proceed without it.

If you do decide for sure to try to reschedule, you should also send notification to them by courier, like FedEx, so that you can get delivery confirmation and a signature confirming. At least that way you know they know you're not coming, and no matter how long you wait to finally get a new date, you'll at least know that they don't think you abandoned your application.

when did you had your medical?...thanks!!!
