An FSW outland's journey

Dear All,

I just want to give a brief overview of my experience for those of you are still waiting: I am an FSW outland applicant, family (4), all dual citizens.
With absolutely no complications (e.g. no additional document or modification or clarification request) it took 8 months and 10 days from AOR to ready for visa e-mail.
It's been a long journey and it is still just the beginning!
My dates are as follow:
Early Jan 2018: Education credential assessment paid (myself and partner).
Mid April 2018: Education credential assessment received (myself and partner)
Mid April 2018: IELTS (partner)
Mid May 2018: IELTS (myself)
June 2018: New family member born
Mid September: IELTS re-take (myself)
Late September 2018: New family member receives all documents
Late October 2018: Profile submitted
December 2018: ITA received
Early January: Medical test
Mid January 2019: Submission, all paid, AOR immediately
Late February 2019: Medical passed.
Late February 2019: Ghost update #1
Late February 2019: Biometrics request letter
Mid March 2019: Biometrics given, profile updated on the same day
Mid July 2019: First contact with IRCC, as 6 months passed since AOR
Mid August 2019: Ghost update #2
Mid September 2019: Second contact with IRCC as 8 months passed since AOR
Late September 2019: Ghost update #3 and ready for visa e-mail received
