Hello all the people!!! Greetings..
Firstly I would like to say that I was also an aspiring student like you who wanted to go to Canada on a study permit.
I have done b.tech with 70% and Ielts score of overall 7 bands with no less than 6.5.
I came upon some interesting facts and wants to share them with you. These facts are mostly for a middle class because its the hard earned money which does matters a lot.
1.Its useless to study for a pgdm programme of 1 year as you will get only 1 year post graduation work permit and the time and chances for applying for pr is negligible only and if only your luck favours then you can.(High risk involved)
2.You can't earn your semester fees by working 20hr/week even if you work on cash(illegal) then also you cant earn because house rent(300$)+bus pass+other expense is roughly 500-600$.And thats for sure.
3.If you opt for a 2year programme i.e you have to get atleast 16 lacs of tution fees. There is no guarantee that you will get a skilled job.
4.Getting PR(permanent residency) is tough but not impossible so you will get PR.But what after that you will continue to work in restaurants, pizza shops,or in a factory for cash jobs. Please do search about this.
All I want to say is, it is the hard earned money of your parents so please invest it carefully.
These facts are not fake.I have searched a lot about these things from my friends and family members living in Canada itself.I would suggest if you can get a scholarship then only go for studying abroad.
Moreover I am not discouraging anyone.I am not saying that you won't succeed but It's just the thing which I want you people to atleast search upon. And PLZ. PLZ. dont go by the buttery words of any consultancy. Its their purpose, so as to earn money.
One more thing I would like to add IF you are going for studying then there can be some really harsh circumstances that you can face.Don't depend on any of your relative or friend.
Best Of luck to everyone here
