Hello Mr/Ms Mehulca,
I appreciate ur conjecture with regard to procurement of caips report.I agree that this process may not necessarily bring about any meterial CHANGE in the status of the case.Yet,I have observed that CAIPS REPORT does elucidates the detail of action taken by CIC and VO right since fling of application,e.g. result of pre-assesment of application and backgound check,if at all it has been initiated with dates of action taken nd next BFD.
I believe,it should give an idea about the actual status of the application which is normally not reflected in the CASE.This is also an option available to the applicant in order to make him/her abreast of the position of the case.
