Hi, I wonder, typically, how many photos a sponsor usually shares with the sponsorship application (in or outland) to prove their relationship is genuine? (Besides 20 photos requested in the checklist).

Thanks.

If you can stick to the standard 20 then great..if not try and collage them in such a way as not to overwhelm your officer…try not to exceed 30 max. Photos have more meaning if they are from multiple time points and events versus being photos at say one restaurant For one meal.

Thank you for your suggestion. Overwhelm the officer? You have no idea how much we are overhelmed with the application.

I have more than 30 photos. I actually have more than 150 photos I prepared for different occasions in multiple pdf docs.

I wouldn’t submit 150 photos if I were you. That’s a few too many for an officer to care To go through. Apart from irking the officer you aren’t going to achieve anything else.

Go with the usual pattern, pre marriage, marriage ceremony, celebrations, anniversaries ,outings, honeymoon and photos with friends and family. No one is interested in your complete journey as a couple from gestation.

Re overwhelming the officer.
if You are a grad student and you have 5 files in front of you, 4 with short, sharp and factual answers on forms and 1 with tens of documents and 100s of photos which one do you think will get processed LAST?
you want to submit a strong application but not overkill.
Best advice I got from this forum tbh! Build a strong compliant file, not war and peace.

Simple: pick your best 20, no more. "Best" in the sense that together they show different events, time, key occasions, etc. They don't need to be beautiful photos, they need to support your case.
