Amman VO Family Class - Spreadsheet for posting your timelines

Hello to all who have Family Class applications being processed in Amman. Please check / post your timeline to this spreadsheet or reply to this post and I will update the sheet for you.

The more people who post their timelines, the better we can track how things are moving. Also it helps to add notes which will let people know how the VO operates.

Does the Amman VO provide AOR2 letters to applicants once the files have been received after transfer? How long from the DM on sponsorship does it take to receive AOR2 usually?

Any other tips for dealing with the Amman VO?

Hi,

I would like to share my application status;

I am Canadian Citizen sponsoring my wife from IRAQ (OUTLAND), CIC in Missusiga received my sponsorship application on 16-10-2015, in ECAS updated (we started processing your sponsorship on 23-Oct-2015, then few days later I got approval to be sponsor via email on 27-Oct-2015 and they sent the application for PR to Amman office, this regarding sponsor application

now I am checking online regarding my wife PR application, in ECAS I found , We received your wife application for PR on 16-Oct-2015, then few days later I found another statement saying , we started processing your wife PR application on 10-Nov-2015.

guys what that mean when they are saying , we are processing after the first statement saying we received in ECAS, is that mean , they really open the file and processing started?
another thing I believe the approval for sponsoring wife taking 2 month previously but in my case takes just 10 days or less, does this mean they speed up the process?

Hi my situation is kinda similar to yours.
I submitted my husbands application in Aug 2015 and they started processing it in Amman in Oct 2015. Visa office just sent me a letter requesting more documents, is that concerning since it is too early at this time? or should i be happy?
The wording of the questions seem like they are questioning everything we said. My husband and I have been together for about 7 years but we just got married in April 2015 because of some family and passport issues.
Anyways I am really worried and I am just wondering if someone has gotten a request for more documents this early?
another thing is they are saying they need explanation for something like " MY husband graduated from a university in Poland" and my husband has never been in Poland. I do not know what to tell them about that, should I just say we have no idea and he is never been in Poland
Please Help

I do not think you should be worry, that is mean , they started actual process in your file, and I think they speed up the process after the election,

yes just say the actual thing like , regarding your question about my husband graduation from Poland, : my husbamd never study there, he graduated from...... and tell them what his university. that is it. do not worry

did they send you questinere or they request additional documents?

They actually asked a lot of questions. A long list of things to provide and weird questions and some of them were actually answered in the application we sent
