Well same im sponsoring my husband in iraq and the gckey is sometimes confusing but you have to link your application and then u can check thr status of it on the gckey

You use either the file number or uci and it asks u a few questions about the person u are sponsoring i tried like 20 times or so till i figured out , are you kurdish cuz ur name sounds like a kurdish name

If you use a representative / lawyer then you cannot use the online account. You may ask your lawyer to link it and tell you what are the updates if any.
