i have sent mine in 10 july

i have a problem that my passport will expire on august 7 and in order to renew it i need to travel and that will take about 3 months

do you think i should contact the embassy and explain it or wait and pray it will be done before august 7

and the girl answering the phone is not helping
you dont get any info from not even a little

Hey.. It depends on the officer's reviewing the files. When I was in Iraq I contacted the consular and he told me 3 weeks but I doubt it..it's all luck and the passport can't you Renew it at the embassy.. I have seen people the embassy of Canada provide them a temporary travel document that's a passport for non Canadian's. Try to go the embassy on Sunday explain it to.them they should have solution for it

i will go there on sunday .. i hope there is document like a passport from them
i cant renew it i have to travel back to egypt and with the situation there .. it is not safe and there is no time limit for how long it will take

3 weeks until you get the visa? that would be awesome but how long has it been for you? thats weird that they actually gave you information and time estimation of when you would get it. i guess thats a good thing cuz that means he looked at your file and saw it almost done! inshallah u get it soon

Wallah I would like to believe it's true..Monday it willbe 2weeks since i gave my requested documents..yes the consular called me back when I was in Iraq with this information.. Dont be shy when u call them .. Polite but aggressive not in a rude way lol

My mother's Canadian passport is expired. She is currently living in Iraq and she wants to renew her Canadian passport. Will she need a visa to enter Jordan from Iraq to renew her Canadian passport?

You need a valid passport to enter country..and Canadian's can get Jordanian visa from airport uppon arrival.. Call the consular in Jordan they should.help

My mother has an Iraqi passport, but if she enters with that passport and shows her canadian citizenship certificate and her expired passport and says that she wants to renew her passport, will they give her a visa in the airport or does she have to get one before that?
I emailed the consular in Jordan but I still haven't gotten a reply.

I am currently sponsoring my husband. Our application was received by CIC on November 21, 2013. I was accepted as a sponsor and our application was transferred on December 20, 2013. There has been no news since then. I am now seven months pregnant and I am currently with my husband in Iraq.

Does anyone have any advice for me? Is there anything I can do that may give us some luck as to make our file be processed faster?
Also, does anyone have any advice as to where I should give birth. Should I go back to Canada to give birth?

heyy you were exactly like me when i applied except i applied in nov of 2012 and i was 5 months pregnant.. my lawyer called me to iraq and told me there is no way you are giving birth in iraq and you should come to canada as soon as possible because i think theres a new law after 2009 that babies born outside canada to canadian mother and non canadian father have to be sponsored with their dad meaning if you give birth in iraq and want to go back to canada for a visit you cannot take ur baby with you!! so its best to go back give birth there and honestly its much better for you i know its hard but its better for u and the baby.. my lawyer literally called me 3 times to ty and convince me to go back to canada before my due date so i think he was really concerned
