Has anyone tried to call the Visa Office lately, i have called them maybe 20 times, and their machine (menue option) do not work, it says to proceed in english press 1, i kept doing it and the machine says we didnt get anything, then after 3 times, it says good bye, and it shuts off.So there is no way to even get contact with them, NOT BY PHONE, AND THEY IGNORE ALL EMAILS,THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO!!!

hi kurd me too I sent them email tow days ago and they ignor it I called the embassy and the lady said sorry we have a problem in our system and we trying to solve it .......I really dont know whats going on they are playing on our feelings god help us.

I got the beautiful email today!

I have 30 days to go and get the passport.

What I did was go to my MP and told them I can't wait any longer and if they didn't help me I will go vote for someone else. They really helped me out and pushed out emails to the embassy, i suggest you go tell your MP's you've had enough of this waiting and you require help.

Mind you they will only help you out if you are close to the processing times like 16-17 months...

Alhamdulilah I am happy but after waiting so long I am not overjoyed I am simply just happy.

I will make dua for you all inshAllah you get your passports soon.

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here so here's my detail. We got married in November 2012 and did medical same month. I sent all documents by end of December 2012. The CIC status shows my application to sponsor was received on January 8, 2013 and started processing application on January 29, 2013. So far I have not heard anything. Do I just play the waiting game here? or is there anything I can do to confirm if they need anything? thx

salahddin i've call the DHL and Aramex and ask them about the price for sending passport, DHL told me that they send the passport and turn it back to iraq wirh 114$ , but aramex cheaper than DHL they send the passport and turn it with 82$ there the best companies i think.

Don't u think it's better if the applicant drop the passport in the embassy by him self as this will decrease the time for issuing the visa may be 4 to 5 days??

I agree with you .but somtimes going to jordan is expensive especially these days the situation in Iraq is so bad so the only way to.go there is by airplane and that will be expensive and don't forget by flying to Jordan you can take only one bag but if you fly from Iraq direct to Canada you can take tow.bags ..that's my opinion
