It means you will receive an email from embassy to send your passport for issuing your visa! And finally fly to CANADA!

I'v regestered my name in this table but can't find it now,why?

I am really sick and sad... Today I called the Embassy in Amman asking them about my wife's file, so I spoke with the receptionist and asked her to transfer me to the immigration section, she told me I can't do that ... send them email they will answer you, I told her I sent them an email on Jan 29 and no one answer me !!! What shall I do , they don't answer emails no phone call allowed ! What shall we do? She told me send them another email!
This process is driving me crazy!

Stay strong! It will be here soon I assure you since Amman clearly has started to sent out ppr's. All of ours will come one way or another. Honestly just live your life how you used to before this process. Put it in the back of your head. Spend time with friends and family or start a new project (thankfully I have school and work that keeps me pretty occupied) so find something that fills up your time. Think about it you have finished all the time there is to wait and that means you are so close! Hang in there :*

I just saw my case in the spreadsheet and thought of adding more information to it for the benefit of other people on this forum.
We applied in Dec 2010, The file got to Syria on Jan 18, 2011, we received the questioner in September 2011, and the file changed to In Process in Dec 2011 and a request to redo my wife medical exam in Jan 2, 2012.
Till now we haven't heard anything after we sent the medical again. It has been almost 14 months..

God be with us all

They have sent me email today and politely said sh** up and wait until we contact you, its a good sign they answered me the same day! Ya Rab

Due to the closure of the Visa Section of the Canadian Embassy in Damascus, active Permanent Residence applications have been transferred as outlined below:


Citizens and Residents of Cyprus, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria

· Federal Skilled Worker and Federal Business Immigration Categories – All applications have been transferred to Ankara.

· Quebec, Provincial Nominee, and Family Class Sponsorship categories – Applications have been transferred to the following offices:

o Amman – Jordan, Syria, Iraq

o Beirut – Lebanon

o Tel Aviv – Cyprus

Citizens and Residents of Iran

All Permanent Resident applications have been transferred to Ankara, Turkey.



Please do not contact any visa office at this time to enquire about the status or location of your application. You should contact the appropriate visa office only if you wish to withdraw your application, or to change your contact information such as e-mail, telephone number, or address.

The visa office processing your application will contact you when they require further information from you, or are ready to provide you further instructions.

Please do not send additional documents to a visa office unless you have been specifically instructed to do so. Any document or e-mail you may have sent to Damascus will be forwarded to the correct office. Please do not send messages more than once, or to more than one visa office.
