American Police certificate, 3 months old?

Hi, Everyone
I have read some post here saying the police certificate should be 3 months old when IRCC receive it.
My immigration consultant said as long as it's one year old it's ok.
My FBI certificate was from January 2021. I am planning to submit my application in October.
Should I get a new one?

I would apply for a new one just to be safe. I read comments from a few people who ran into some problems due their police certificates being outdated.
