The way I read that, the ONLY proof of relationship was 4 wedding photos (no other photos, no essay?).

They did lots of mistakes when submitting the application. No chats records, phone records, flight itinerary, etc. That's correct only (4) pics submitted, all were wedding photos of them alone. They assumed they've been married for a long time and this would not be considered marriage of convenience. Never assume with CIC.
