Hello, I am trying to work out my education points and I am confused about the wording in the eligibility test. I have 7 years primary school, 5 years high school plus 3 year diploma. What does that give me for points?
Thanks

You would get 22 points as per OP6....see below contents from OP6

"Three year post-secondary educational credential, other than a university
educational credential, and at least 15 years of completed full-time or full-time
equivalent studies"

Points: 22

I hope this helps.

no wrong diwakar.....if he holds a bachelor degree from University then it's 20 points otherwise he would get 22 points for a vocational diploma.

Thanks for quick responses - my 3 year diploma is in Hospitality - Catering Management and I work as a chef

now i m confused.......... what would be the points for 3 yrs BA (total 15 yrs schooling). do 3 yrs vocational diploma get more points than general 3 yrs bachelor degree (both 15 yrs schooling)????

just for knowledge.......i m safe though with masters n 17 yrs schooling,

with a single degree at bachelors level from a university you get 20 points.

bkuper would get 22 because his being vocational diploma.

rajnik is right...

a single 3 yr diploma fetches 22, while a single bachelors fetches 20... a double bachelors fetches 22...

bkuper, you should check out the credentials of you college that issued the diploma. recently, there was a post that mentioned that a Hotel Management Diploma (bes in the country) was denied since the college was not recognised by Local Government.
