I guess this is the right place to share my issue. I did post grad in vfx and editing in 2012 from London. Ontario.

My post grad work permit expired on 12 July, 2013. On 5th july we filed LMO as a Cook (short order cook in a fried chicken franchise) work permit extension.

On sept 18, 2013, LMO got refused and on 7th oct, 2013 work permit got rejected. Then my lawyer filed an adiministrative review but in november we came to know that they don't have appeal process.

I changed my lawyer and filed a new LMO with work permit restoration on 2nd jan, 2014. I was good 3 days before that restoration period was ending.

But, they are again likely to refuse the LMO. My lawyer suggesting me to apply under OPNP. So i just want to know that do I have any chance under OPNP. Please experts help me on those.

Appreciate it.....please please help...

Based on the information you have provided, you don't qualify for the Ontario PNP program. The requirements are here:

Thanks Scylla. Can you please elaborate that why I am not eligible. Because I have no status right now?

Why didn't u apply for opnp right away after your graduation? you were eligible if you had just done one year post grad program. Now it looks a little bit complicated. Get some advice from the international centre in your university or may contact with Ontario PNP office.they can help you.
Good luck

@ Reyan619 ,

You are not eligible for the "international student with job offer" stream because an applicant should have a legal status in Canada and your current status is unclear.
http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/OI/en/pnp/OI_PNPSTUDENTS_JOBAPPLY.html#_qualify

But your employer may apply for your nomination through "employeers" stream. I think this is what your lawyer was suggesting. Once you get nominated you will be able to receive a work permit from OPNP up to 18 months. It should be enogh to complete immigration process.
