Hello,
I am applying for the MBA program at Vancouver island university. The program fee is $31,500. I am applying from Pakistan and my uncle in USA will apply for a student loan in order to pay my fee and expenses. Will I be eligible to get a study visa under this condition?

Thanks.

If a student loan is going to be used then that student loan needs to be in your name. If your uncle is going to fund your studies, then he will have to show a bank account statement with fund to cover your studies.

Thanks. My uncle is simply applying for a student loan for me then he will pay it's installments on my behalf. So Is it necessary that the loan should be in my name? Would there be any issues? What are my visa chances?

The money should be in his account..and he will have to sign an affidavet that he is sponsoring you.

the loan must be in your sponsor's name. PS he would have to sign an affidavit that he is sponsoring you.

i dnt think so. however, i think it would be a plus that an American citizen is sponsoring you.

They also have provided the option to show a proof it u have applied for a student loan.
I think there would be NO. issue.
What do u think ?
