am i eligible to CEC if i get a one year diploma then worked for 1 year ??

Hello

I am confused , some sites say that after 1 year of study i can get 1 year work permit and then
apply for PR under CEC

while others say that the minimum requirement to apply under CEC is 2 years degree

please advise

you need 2 years degree/diploma in order to be eligible to apply after 1 year of work experience in the last 2 years under CEC.

if you finish with a 1 year diploma, you can ONLY get 1 year post graduate permit, also you cannot apply as a graduate since you need to have a 2 years diploma, and so you have to then have 2 years work experience to apply as a skilled worker through CEC, BUT you have only 1 year permit, so you then have to get another 1 year from only God knows where, maybe your employer can sponsor you or something, but that is a complicated road to follow.

in short graduate with a 2 years diploma get a 3 years permit and after 1 year of working in the last 2 years (does not have to be continuous) you can apply as a graduate through CEC

no, work experience has to be after the completion of 2 years of study...
