hello im from philippines. based on my research and many readings in this forum there are lots of people who received their visa even their IELTS result was not that good, and there is no age limit in applying for student visa. make sure you have sufficient funds in your account and since you are 30 years old, you need to provide an certificate of employment to convinced the VO that ypu will return to your hometown after studying in canada. i hope this will help you

im sorry, but here in philippines we are not required to submit our IELTS grades, in addition, in other country such as india they need to submit their IELTS report card in their application and they should get a overall score of 6.0 with no less tha 5.5 in all subjects. Yes, just try your very best to pass your IELTS. Try to find review materials in google.com to help you to prepare for the test. I will be submitting my application maybe on january because Im still doing some research to prevent my application to be refuse by the vo's. Goodluck to your application

HI EVERYONE ..

i'm Sheeraz from Pakistan
i would like to know am i eligible to study in Canadian Colleges/Universities because i'm 30 years old ( Age Limit ?) .
i completed my Bs-Software Engineering degree from Pakistan & and also i did few others computers related certificates courses, & i've 4 years experience in I.T Field. i would like to take admission in PG Diploma in any suitable college in any province of Canada. i found one college seneca, i think it's probably in Toronto.

in 10th Class = my grade is B
in 12th class = D Grade ( there is a reason that i got accident but now i'm normal )
in BS-Degree = 2nd class
IELTS Academic = Overall 5.5 (*i know it's not enough but again i'm going to give IELTS in the end of this year)
i searched many colleges which accepts 5.5 overall in canada , but in this forum i found many comments, people were saying that it will be risky when you will apply for Canadian Visa ??
my bro, sister & few others relatives have been living in different provinces of Canada more than 10 years & they all are permanent citizens .. so what it'll be a negative impact on my visa ?
i haven't gone to Educational Consultants because they're sitting for making money ... maybe they will make me fool & assure me that you will get visa easily ... so that's why i don't want to go to consultants anyway.

so guys ??? how many chances are getting canadian visa for me ??
and what should i choose for study ? College/university ?

is there any age limit studying in canada ? as an international student ??
actually i don't have problem in money .. i've sufficient money if they want i will manage it extra.
so guys what should i do and which collage/university i select and in which province ??

You are right because IELTS is a requirement of an institution and not of embassy. But still it may affects an application if scores are low, I am sure you can improve your scores.

Do not mention on your application that you have relatives in Canada.

You took a right decision.

College/university ?
I would prefer University.

You need to have your Bank statement showing enough amount (atleast 1 year tuition fee + 1 yr living expenses) on your account for atleast last 4months. You can attach your property documents as well if you have any.

Thanks a lot dude for reply. Yes you're right I'll give an IELTS test again. but I want to ask how about my age ? What it won't be any issue getting admission as I'm 30 years . And in intermediate I've low grade so will they accept me ?

Age would not cause any hurdle for you in getting admission.

Thanks for reply but what should I do ? I mean is there any other way , because I'm good in my field and I've an experience in my field but unfortunately I got very low grade in intermediate. But there was a reason behind this. So dude what should you suggest me what can I do to handle this program ?

Since CHC deals applications on case by case basis so you can explain your reasons or whatever you want them to know on your SOP.
