I have been in Canada since 2009, renewing my Work Permit every 12 months. Been at my current job for 3.5 years.
Sent in my Inland PR application in MArch 2013, so won't be processed until sometime next year.
Just a thought..
If we were to fall pregnant before I became a PR, would I be eligible for Maternity leave? Or not, because I am not a Canadian PR/Citizen?

Just curious as we would like to start our family sometime soon!

As long as you are legally employed and paying EI you can apply for maternity income. Just a thought that is sorta part of getting maternity leave.
