your scores need to be a 6 or above for all four categories in order to be eligible for Skilled Level A. Since you had a "5" for writing, that would make you ineligible for CEC at this point.CEC_2013 said:Hi Folks,
I got the following IELTS band. I don't know whether I am eligible or not under NOC A category hence before going ahead to submit the file. Could you any one review my IELTS band based on NOC ( 2173) A category...
5W, 6R, 6.5L, 8S
Thanks

First of all IELTS points does not equal to CLB. They need to be converted.CEC_2013 said:Thanks buddy.
But somewhere, I have read that there are two options 1) 6,6,6,6
and 2) 6,7,7,8 to go through CEC point in IELTS.
I don't know how to count the CLB level here based on IELTS..
Anyone senior could you please comment here.
Thanks
Akash.
Yeah, I know exactly what you are talking about. Don't pay attention to the OP Manual 25 because they didn't change a thing from the older version. They didn't update any new information or important changes to the manual. Go with the website right now because it has the most updated information regarding CEC on there.CEC_2013 said:Thanks Jonny for prompt response.
I have found the info from this document op25-eng.pdf and it's updated by CEC latest version. Could you please open and suggest me.
somehow I am not able to post the link.
I don't know which one is correct or wrong.
Thanks
Akash.
Hi You have to take IELTS exam again. As per new rules, you need 6 band score in reading, listening, writing and speaking.CEC_2013 said:Hi Folks,
