Am I elighible to apply for PR on May?

hey friends.....

I came to Canada By May 2010 and I will be completing two years by this May. I am planning to apply PR under "Economic" program (Category CEC)

(I am on work permit, i come under "Software Products Developer" NOC)

In between, I visited India for 2.5 months, during this time i get paid in Canadian Dollars.

My question is....... Am i eligible to apply for PR in May? or do i have to wait for two more moths to compensate the gaps?

As per my knowledge you should be OK to apply in May. I was in similar situation and applied My file is in process now.
As per my GCMS notes I met CIC eligibility.

Depends what you mean - were you on paid vacation while you were in India? You can include vacation time, as you are still "employed."

If you were working while you were outside of Canada, that is more problematic...

even i was in same state ,as i discusses with immigration lawyer, Paid vacation can be considered as Canadaian experience.

You can apply PR in may, prior to that you need to clear IELTS
