am I a valid applicant?

Hi everyone,

my work permit extension refusal came on 11th April 2014, I and my spouse did not apply for restoration but left the country on 7th May 2014. (after 3 weeks).
Now, I am applying for my CEC from india by this month end. I am worried what will happen as i did not apply for restoration but left Canada after 3 weeks of refusal.

So technically does that mean I was there without status? Our restoration status?
This Queston is really bugging me .. anyways I m applying for cec..

Can someone give me info on this?

There must be a grace period after your WP refusal. I don't remember the exact day but should be more than 3 weeks. So you should be OK.

The refusal letter says , I have 90 days to apply for a restoration or have to leave immediately. I had once called the cec call center, those guys scared me saying longer you stay without applying for restoration and leave, the greater problem for your application.
