Already having valid Study Visa and now applying for ICT WP

Hi Everyone!

Please help me with an advice. I applied for study visa for sept 2017 intake and I got it with validity till march 2019 but due to some urgent work commitment I couldn't pursue my course. So I planned to pursue my course for may 2018 session. Now, my company is applying for Canada ICT WP as my work assignment needs me to travel to Canada. Could you please advise if already having a unused valid Study visa will be a problem in getting the WP. Please help.

Others can comment but unlikely to have any impact at all as the ICT would be a completely new application and considered as such to be approved or not. Of course in the ICT application you probably need to declare the study permit has been approved/issued but thats all.
