The CCB isn't an allowance, it's a government tax funded benefit, and I posted the eligibility criteria including the "tax resident for more than 18 months" in my next post.

Yeah, saw your post afterwards . I guess the OP meant "allowance" in that you get money paid to you for your children monthly.
