My application date is Oct 16.
I got my UCI this morning Dec 16 Canadian time from the call center and my ECAS shows "we received your application for permanent residence on October 16, 2014."

Not sure if it is good news or if my DD is cashed but just want to share with you guys the timeline.

I received my PER email dated Dec 17th, DD cashed on Dec 12th as per PER email. Soooo happy!

What is the content of the email you received?
If you sent an email to CIO inquiring about your application 40-50 days ago, then this must be their response. Does it say your application is waiting review or anything else? I am saying this because it is very unlikely to get PER mail now as an October applicant!!

I received my PER email, application Oct 16 so it is very likely!

Hi,
I called them early morning their time around 9-10 am. I had to tried a couple of times to get to a nicest person who ask me my full name, date of birth, application date, country of birth. Then she confirmed my address and give me my UCI!

Capping Update Analysis.
The new column just added is good for all applicants.
This is a big relieve so as to know the outstanding applications
awaiting review.
Column 2 is pointer towards capping.
As at today,if you add column 1 and column 2 and it is close to 1,000 there is no point
of sending application to these NOCs.
Kindly go for alternative NOCs.

when we see that the new column has 16 applications which are still awaiting, does that mean that no payment has been charged for them? Also, for count of 984 , everyone has been charged? 2173 being the hot NOC, I am just confused about these figures because for us the cap reached in August, is that not correct?

Isn't it strange that 16th Oct applicant was able to get his UCI in call center yesterday and even check his status online and they were not able to find my file today (Oct 23 applicant)?

I read 16th October NOC 4011 getting PER too, Icing on cake? it was DD too :
CIC is going random, I think! or officers responsible for their application stacks have an assorted speed.

CENTRALIZED INTAKE OFFICE containing uci and app no.
If it means PER than I got it.........
