Seniors, please advise. I plan to marry before I leave, but I do not have a date yet.

Question 1, what happens if I tell them I want to marry before I leave. What documents do I need to send since I do not have a date yet?

Question 2, what documents do I submit if I apply for common law partner?

Question 3, what happens if I do not inform them yet and then just inform them after I get married (maybe while waiting for MR)?

Please please please advise.

I would like you to share with me how to speak to customer care..I tried 3-4 times but I get stuck when the IVR asks for application No. on phone. My application date was 20 Oct and CC got charged on 29 Dec 2014. I am waiting for the PER email and have been sending emails to CIC but theres no response.
Please guide me how did you get the UCI No. or File No. on phone.

But u need to try atleast 3--4 times, i got UCI on 7 attempt, keep ur tone low dont be irritate.

By chance if operator is kind enough u may get in 1 attempt..

Better to call CIC on their customer care no: +16139444000.

Then press option number 1 six times, then 3 and then 1 i.e 1,1,1,1,1,1,3 and 1.

It will ask for your Date of Birth.

I have called almost 6-8 times, if u r lucky the operator will help u or else try multiple times. I have answered three times for the same query

I have applied for NOC 2263 and courier shows that my application was delivered to CIO on 1st octo 2014
And I have no idea my DD got encashed or not, my question is how do we get UCI number?? I called
CIC but the represantative advice me she can't give me UCI number and I have to wait for the email from CIO,
Is this correct that they can't provide me UCI number?? What else I can do to get my UCI number??

Hi TM2014,

I applied under same NOC 2263, application recieved at CIO on October 3. My CC was charged on December 15 and I recieved PER on January 13. So, you should have already been recieved PER. Seems there is a problem with your DD enchasement with your bank or with your file at CIO. I would highly suggest you to check both somehow. Hope all goes well with you.
