I received my PER email last night. My timeline is:

App. Received date - 22nd Oct,2014
CC charged - 29th Dec,2014
PER email - 23rd Jan,2015
NOC - 0112

Hey buddy, how did you check your ECAS status? I believe you don't get your UCI number till you get PER, right?

My DD has been encashed on 5 Jan, 2015 and I am waiting for my PER.

Our timelines are very similar.. My appl recd. date was 27th October, 2014 and DD encash date was 5 Jan 2015...

So, going by your timelines, I should receive my PER on 29 Jan 2015

From cic customer service via phone call or through case specific enquiry uci can be acquired.
If an application has been done with cic before there is a UCI. UCI doesn't change.
I have a UCI for my student visa. It is same for FSWP too.

I can understand your situation buddy. Have you tried calling CIC to get the UCI# ?

I already called CIC and got my UCI#, but when I check ECAS, it shows "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided"

what payment mode did you use? CC or DD?

if cc you should have been charged by now as charging has reached December, if DD please check with your bank.

if no payment has been taken yet, stay hopeful but i will advise you put in for EE.

payment mode is DD, I called and visited my bank and they told me that there is no way to check if DD has been encashed. I applied through an attorney, and I just called the office and they told me to stay hopeful as they have not received any negative feedback nor the application has been returned, they told me it's a matter of time to hear something.

Don't worry, your PER must be on the way and will land in your inbox anytime. As per my knowledge there is no chance of rejection coz of attorney's assistance. I myself filed my case through attorney. Don't lose hope, keep up your spirits.
