So out of anxiety i called CIC today after 4 trials i got my UCI from the only lady who picked my calls, the other guys were too mean to release it, so i looked it up online and it says in process: we received your application on 16th October, does that mean PER is on its way?

Can u advise if people are applying with Settlement funds in local currency. this is what I did and I am worried that I will get NER. Indian rupee is a non-convertible currency.

I guess so! I have FDs which are in INR and equivalent to XXXXX CAD and this is stated on the bank letter head by the manager so as far as I know, yes we do apply with local currency with a proof (original bank letter stating equivalent CAD) of funds.

Right, so do we have to call them until somebody answers the call who is ready to help us with UCI number??

I had wait times of 12 and 9 minutes after the 1111131#1 sequence, however the first call got disconnected before somebody answered, my fault though.

Lol! You are charged? Then what are you so paranoid about buddy!
You are charged only after the completeness check I hope, which means your documents are as required in the first place, they will later be verified by VO to make sure they are genuine.
and would you please share your timeline

nothing to worry. It doesn't matter if you put CAD equivalency or not. They know how much it should be in INR.

PERRRRRRRR: Today!!!

This really came as a surprise, I was not expecting PER till next week at least!!

PER or NER can come only after being charged.
Those files which went through completeness check are charged and then placed in queue for MI check. In MI check they check it for 67 points and reference letter usually. If the application doesn't meet 67 points or reference letter doesn't match with duties and responsibilities of the specific noc then there is a NER decision.
Otherwise PER.

when was your credit card charge? Because many NOC 1111 October applicants are waiting for their CCC or DD charge.

CIO receivd my app last oct 6 under noc 3132 but i didnt receive any cc charge yet and what happened was i lost my card end of nov so i sent a new payment form dec 7 bt until now i didnt receive any cc charge yet but my friend who applied the same date with me got her PER already yesterday.
