Hi guys i have got some news. LVO will be opening on july 13th. Hoepfully in sha allah they will start processing files faster after that. How i got the info was from a facebook group someone had messaged the ircc and they replied about the opening. All the best people!

Hi everyone. I’m Dec 2019 applicant. Done medical and biometrics on Jan 2020. February, file was transferred to LVO..

I just joined this group in facebook “Support for applications currently at London Visa Office IRCC” maybe it can help you gather some updates/link too .. Thank you all for sharing infos here . I hope all of us will get good news soon

Hopefully that’s true and they get moving. I am just about to submit a web form message to IRCC London requesting an update.

It's ridiculous how long this process is and how little they keep in touch with you. In early Nov. 2019 they sent mine to LVO before COVID broke out 4 months I didn't receive anything from them, even with this whole pandemic situation very little information in regards whats going on. It's been 7 months now still nothing.

The last thing I got was it was forwarded to the London office, when I call and check status on th phone it says there processing a background check.

That worries me. Last thing I received was that it was transferred to London, no AOR2 yet. That was early March.

I spoke to my wife she got an email from London office saying they received her application.

A few days after the email I got my file was sent, so you might have to ask the person your sponsoring because it would've went to them.

Did you assign a representative? I’m the sponsor and the rep. Would be odd for them to send something to the PA...

No, but it makes sense, England went into lock down real quick during covid I have family there and they shut down everything. In Canada around mid March here we got sent home to work from home, my spouse received her email when they received it in London office 4 days after I got the email when it was sent, this was in early/mid Nov. So, I'd say they were closed when yours went there hence why you haven't received anything yet.

I wonder if that is at all true. I wonder where that person got their information from. That's still almost a month away. I hope they start moving on our files soon.
