I know a lot of you are getting PR's and happy for you.

Question - For all those who are getting PRs are there any applicants whose sponsors (husband/wife) staying inside India ?
I want to know if IRCC provides PRs/COPRs even if sponsors are not within Canada and are currently staying with family. (Because I am planning to travel to India soon for a couple of months and want to know if this stops IRCC from giving the PRs.)

I observe this happens to those from Quebec. I received my CSQ in July 2020 but got my medical request on 31 Dec 2020. So, I guess this is normal.

If you are a citizen, no issue. If you are a PR, ircc says short trips abroad only. No official guideline on how short. Generally understood to be less than a month. So yes, they can hold it up. But we do not know how strict they are about this.

Thanks, I know the rule in general, we have to make short trips.

I am just asking if there is anybody here who did that and are still in home country while their spouses got the COPR

Do we need to send an update to CIC that we have completed our Re -medicals ????? Can anyone guide me ??
No need to update cic. Just make sure the medical result has been submitted by the hospital/clinic to immigration. After that.. Just have to wait.
